ODB was 1st, Kanye was 2nd

So for whatever reason, I was up on wikipedia researching ODB. I never actually knew how he died, so I skimmed down to that section. It gave a brief synopsis of controversy before his death, including mentioning an incident at the 1998 Grammys.

You see, in 1997, Wu Tang released their sophomore album, "Wu Tang Forever", which was ultimately nominated for Rap Album of the Year at the 1998 Grammys. The problem for ODB was the fact that Puff Daddy's [Diddy's stage name at the time] debut album "No Way Out" won the aforementioned award. ODB later stormed the stage during Shawn Colvin's award speech, to talk about how Wu-Tang deserved the award.

His exact words?"Puff is good, but Wu-Tang is the best."


Sounds a tad familiar doesn't it? A rapper interrupting a female white singer.
